The hotel's history

Hotel Trias is a hundred-year-old establishment, founded by Señora María, a determined, pioneering woman who, after a fire destroyed her family business, decided to open a hotel and cook for her guests.

The Hotel Trias gradually became one of the benchmark hotels on the Costa Brava, welcoming celebrities from the arts and literature such as Ava Gardner and Truman Capote, who wrote part of his famous novel "In Cold Blood" at the hotel.

Hotel Trias reopened its doors in 2005 after a major renovation and remains a benchmark hotel on the Costa Brava, conserving its seafaring origin.
